William Ritson McGough

1903 - 1961

William was born 5 August 1903 in Blaydon, Durham.

He married Lilian Esther McCabe (1907–1967) in 1933.

They had one daughter Lillian McGough (1935–2015). She never married, She was in the RAF.

William looked to be a miner in his younger days. then a Milling machinist Armetures.


William died in 1961 • 77 Colston Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Sarah McGough

1904 - 1985

Sarah was born 13 September 1904 in Blaydon Durham. She was baptised on 29 Dec 1904 at St. Joseph's, Blaydon, Durham.

 

Sarah never married but had one son James Keane, she went to her sister Agnes area in Middlesex whilst she had him. He was a Teacher then later a postman. 

Sarah remained in Blaydon her whole life and was a strict visitor of of church.

She died in 1985 in Blaydon, Durham

Agnes McGough 1906 - 

Agnes was born on 28 Feb 1906 at Blaydon, Durham. She was baptised on 17 Mar 1906 at St. Joseph's, Blaydon, Durham.

Agnes married Albert Edward Boxall in 1933.

Agnes died in 1947 aged 41 in Edmonton, Middlesex.

Mary McGough 1907 - 

Mary was born 1907 in Blaydon, Durham. She was baptised on 24 Aug 1907 at  St. Joseph's, Blaydon, Durham

Ellen McGough 1908 -

Ellen was born 1909 Blaydon Durham, she was baptised on 22 Aug 1908 at St. Joseph's, Blaydon, Durham.

Jenny McGough 1910 - 1981

Jenny was born 11 Jul 1910 Blaydon, Durham.

She married George Robert Philp in 1934 Bromley, Kent.

They had 3 children.

Elizabeth was born end of 1912 or early 1913 in Blaydon, Durham.

Annie McGough 1915 - 

Margaret McGough 1919 - 

Margaret was born on 9 Mar 1919 Winlaton, Gateshead.

When she was 20 she was working as an a Upholsterer (Bedding).


She married William Miller in 1944 Wensleydale, Yorkshire. They had two sons and a daughter.

John McGough 1921 -

John was born on 15 Aug 1921 Blaydon, Durham.

John died 25 January 1979 Islington, London.

Thomas Bernard McGough 1923 - 1989

Thomas was born on 31 Dec 1923 Blaydon, Durham.

He married Gladys Joyce in 1947

They had four sons.

Thomas died in 1989 Gateshead.
