Joseph Thompson
1931 - 2020
Joseph was born 1931 in Wallsend.
Joe Married Doris Chapman in 1954.
They had one son.
He then went on to marry Vera Marshall.
Joe died on 30th August 2020 in Walker, Newcastle. Aged 89 years old
His funeral was held at Tynemouth Crematorium on 15th September 2020.

FRANCES THOMPSON
1932 - 2009
Frances Thompson was born in 1932 in Wallsend.
She married George Boak in 1951
Daughter Valerie Boak.
She went on to marry Frederick W R James in 1972.
She went on to marry John K Wood.
Frances died in about 2009 in Rowlands Gill. Her Funeral was held at Mountsett Crematorium.

CATHERINE THOMPSON 1938 - 2017
Catherine Thompson was born in 1938 in Wallsend.
She married George Benjamin Bullock Turnbull in 1968. They had 2 sons and a daughter.
Catherine spent a few years living in Cyprus before returning to Wallsend.
Her husband George died in 1990 in North Tyneside aged 53.
She died in 2017 in Wallsend, Aged 79. Her funeral was held at Preston Cemetery and Tynemouth Crematorium.

SAPPER ALFRED THOMPSON 1941 - 1963
Alfred was born in 1941 in Wallsend.
He married Frances Waterson in 1960 in Tynemouth.
They had a son and a daughter.
He was a sapper in the British Army.
The Corps of Royal Engineers, usually just called the Royal Engineers (RE), and commonly known as the Sappers, is one of the corps of the British Army. It provides military engineering and other technical support to the British Armed Forces and is headed by the Chief Royal Engineer.
Alfie died on 31 January 1963 in Petersfield, Hampshire after being in a car crash on his way back to the barracks in the bad winter of 1963.
He is buried in Holy Cross cemetery, Wallsend.

MARGARET THOMPSON 1935 - 2009
Margaret Thompson was born on 8th April 1935 in Wallsend.
She married Peter Allerdyce, they had two sons and a daughter.
Margaret died on 2nd March 2009 in Nottinghamshire, she was cremated on 12th March 2009 at Nottingham General Cemetery.

GEORGE THOMPSON 1944–2022
George "Geordie Thompson was born on 9th June 1944 in Wallsend.
George married June Eleanor Leighton in 1966 in Tynemouth.
They had 3 sons.
Geordie went on to marry Barbara Ann McMillan in October 1989 at Morpeth Registry Office, Northumberland.
They lived in various placed, North Shields, Rothley, Longwitton and then settling in Netherwitton before selling up and traveling around managing various sites for the camping and caravanning club sites. They retired up in Dingwall and stayed there for a few years before moving to a remote cottage in the Newcastleton area.
George had a range of occupations in his time, a builder, a truck driver, a recovery truck driver, a mechanic. then camp site manager before he retired. Geordie and Barbara, took on his brother Tommy's children and brought them up as their own, putting them on the right tracks for life.
George was also a driver in the British Army where he learned to drive. It is said he was once arrested for going AWOL after not being granted leave when he requested it.
Geordie died on 16th March 2022 in Newcastleton, Roxburghshire, Scotland. His funeral was held at Carlisle Crematorium. His ashes were later added to the grave of his brother Tommy in Holy Cross Cemetery. backing on to his Mother Eliza and brother Alfie's grave.

THOMAS THOMPSON 1946–2015
Thomas Thompson was born 15th August 1946 in wallsend.
He married Elizabeth Bell in 1965 in Tynemouth district.
They had five daughters.
He later went on to have two more children, as son and daughter with Maureen Charlton, they never married.
Tommy worked as a crane driver at Shepherds scrap yard in Wallsend. He spent a time as a clicky on the busses.
He was later a secretary of the High Street working mens club in Blyth.
In 1994 he went on to marry Lilian A Harmieson in Blyth.
He spent his later years with Eileen Craig an irish lady, until she passed away in 2014.
Tommy died on 13 January 2015 in Ashington Hospital. He was Buried in Holycross Cemetery, Wallsend.

Peter Thompson was born 1948 in Wallsend.
